Virgogray Press is an independent, literary publishing house from Austin, TX. Virgogray produces limited-run chapbooks and traditional, perfect bound publications with a primary focus on poetry and literature. Virgogray Press is privately-owned by Michael Aaron Casares and is intent on sharing the art of poetry as well as work toward the expansion of literacy in the communities and abroad. Virgogray Press first began publishing in 2004 and opened its doors to poets and artists around the world in 2008. Since that time, Virgogray has released over 40 publications including: poetry collections, chapbook anthologies, on-line and print journals, and more. Virgogray Press is currently accepting submissions for its periodical publications, Carcinogenic Poetry, Nothing. No One. Nowhere., and The Occupy Poetry Project.
